Wrong!

You need to deal with the seasonality issue in a direct fashion. If you hide behind the legalism of stating that there was an erosion of market share you are perpetrating a fraud on those that follow your advice.

Dell gained market share for the year. A fourth quarter focus is misleading and you should know better. That would be akin to saying that the Northern hemisphere is cooling at a dangerous rate by looking only at the quarter over quarter drop in temperatures. You know better than this. And if you do not you should have the decency to not comment on things where your knowledge is wanting.

And Chuzzlewit has the IDC report on his desk as he types. This is not a company spin. This is the result of analysis

Shame on you!

At least you acknowledge that you have no data to support your contention that the PC industry shrank last year.

MB, I've never seen you go to other threads like you have lately( ATMEL excluded). I know how you think and you are just testing the waters since you are unsure of your DELL stand and trying to decide your next move. Tues. PM will tell...... crow or Old Crow. Either way I'll still love you since I've only got 2000 shares of DELL. Can't Valentine's lies come from both sides?<G>I feel your pain since the Dellites are calling you hpeace now and that is the cruelest cut of all<G>
