Okay John, now I'm really mad:

Here's historic data I culled from Market Guide. This shows
the sequential change in revenues for three companies for the
fourth quarter, CPQ, DELL and GTW.

CPQ DELL GTW
1995 30.8% 8.7% 40%
1996 20.6 19.5 29.1
1997 13.1 17.2 31.4
1998 23.5 14.2* 27.0
Avg 22.0 14.9 31.9

*Estimated based on $5.5 BB in revenues

Observation: the company with the greatest exposure to
retail sales (GTW) shows the greatest seasonality. The company
with the least (DELL) shows the least seasonality.
