MB<ROTFLMAO. Only fools rush in where angels fear to tread! Don't worry about my DELL shares. You know I'm a putz than doesn't do puts. I had sold it on Thurs. and bot it back Fri. at 9-10 down. My finger is on the trigger and itching, timing is everything, but I must admit my reflexes are slowing down.<G>

I love a good rumor. This one from the Yahoo BA thread:

by: NiceManLooking 18141 of 18141
How do you like this for a rumor?

********************************************************************************************

A couple months back the rumor of a buy out by General Electric was circulating and Mr. Condit put the rumor to bed saying that it was unlikely as G.E. would have to sell of their Engine division in order to be able to do a buy out of the Commercial Airplane Division. Well guess what folks, you will shortly see an announcement from Allied Signal that they are purchasing the Engine Division of G.E............... We have also been told that a buy out of Boeing Commercial by G.E. is nearing a done deal, that part has not been confirmed but it seems like the next logical step, after all, remember when Condit stated categorically that there were absolutely no merger talks between Boeing and Mcdonald Douglas just 6 months before the merger took place, and also Mr. Mullaly has stated that the commercial division is a millstone on Boeings neck because it is not profitable enough to warrant keeping it. So, will we all be working for the General Electric Commercial Airplane Co, in the next few months.
