That is the key, Everything is shown in Price. People can predict, hope, and wish. Analysts and brokers can try to play their games. But at day's end, Price rules. Who cares why price moves just use price measurements to stay with trend.

Company X announces a new product, you buy because of this. The price goes down, when will you sell?

Earning comes out lower, you sell short. Price goes up, when will you cover?

The new product will be there years from now. Do you wait a quarter to cover on earnings.

People call TA an art rather than a science. I call funnymentals smoke and mirrors measured by those with a hidden adgenda. over 75% of earnings estimates are wrong, how many were intentionally wrong? Will someone show me a funnymental measure that provides an entry point and a exit.

I have said somewhere in my rambling that funnymentals may play a role in long term price changes. That is just a guess on my part, I have no evidence. I still think that earnings growth may take some of the risk out of things, this is best measured by IBD EPS ranking. But I can't prove it.
