Larry-

You raise some interesting points/concerns. I feel better because Carl knows Bert and I think Bert would not have spent another 150K on new shares in January of one of his fellow BOD's was "less than optimisitic." If Carl knows something bad than I am sure Bert does too. Being that is the case, why buy more stock if the news is bad about the company.

Just a response to your thoughts...

HC

Berg may also be making more money with his cash than he could make lending it to Valence. Why should he throw his money in if they don't really need it? We have seen no signs that they are desperate for cash. Certainly didn't sound like Lev was worried. Agree with hc, Berg most likely knows what Roberts knows. If Roberts is buying more he must know something good.

Larry, During the CC, I thought I heard Lev say that restrictions had been removed on the Baccarat line. Anybody?

Larry, why would Berg hold through many of his different investments companies, a chunk of 2 + million shares....and have 1.3 million in the name of a trust fund for his children (trustfund not in HIS name)... this question raises more "suspicion" , to me, than the 7.5 million $....read the 13G ...maybe I am wrong...
