It is still a bit premature to put much money in oil stocks, Especially if one is a short term trader. For longer term investors this spring is not a bad time to start putting some money in quality oils like Schlumberger. By the way I have not done so yet, but plan to. Have a buy order in for it in the mid 40's to see if I can snag it on a correction. Otherwise I will buy it this spring. I see oil prices starting to rise at the end of this year, and the market moves usually earlier than the events.
