Dear Jackc: I have been retired for 8 years and you are referring to recent legislation. However, I THINK you need to verify this either by reading the info in your tax instructions, that the conversion had to be before 12/31/98. However, if the paperwork was completed and signed, seems to me whomever your trustee is could answer that question easily. As a rule, I would think that once the transaction has been LEGALLY completed it is over. Posting doesnt seem to me to be a concern. But do ask your trustee. JDN
