Justin: Keep a cool tool guy! Sorry to ruffle the fethers. I like what your talking about as I, have used the same type readings for sometime now. Have you seen the stump that will let you know the range?

I call it a stump of a tree yet it's more like a large oak that was cut off by lighting about a foot down from where the first branches were formed looking up from the ground. When I have looked back at many of charts they all seem to point back to the spot.

Now some are small and you can miss them yet most are easy to see. The next time you look at a runup try to find the point were it stoped and why. The last one we did was on a stock at $1.00 and the stumpf was at $9.25 or so the stock ran to it and closed at about $4.50
guess who was out at $8.00 hmmm I like the timeing also the advantage if they stall you can see if they will run again. Many times did a flip on a chart pattern alone.
