Thank you Apratim, since I am now awake after a short catnap I
thought I might add some more data to the seasonality issue:

Here's more historic data I culled from Market Guide. This shows
the sequential change in revenues for three companies for the
first quarter over the fourth quarter of the previous year,
CPQ, DELL and GTW.

CPQ DELL GTW
1996 -1.6% 6.4% -8.3%
1997 -11.6 7.3 -8.6
1998 -22.5 4.9 -12.3
----- ----- ------
Avg -11.9 6.2 -9.8

*Estimated based on $5.5 BB in revenues

Observation: the company with the least exposure to
retail sales (DELL) shows the least seasonality. The surprise
is that CPQ shows the greatest 1st quarter drop. Perhaps this is
a consequence of merchandise returns from the channel.
