Gary, thanks for the response. I trade with a firm that charges just a penny a share for NYSE stocks - no other costs. I'm always on the look-out for a lower cost place to trade. I make about 22-25 trades (round trips) per day and rarely hold a stock more than 15 minutes. I take whatever the market will give me (sometimes dollars, sometimes only a teenie) and end up with a lot of scratch trades or teenie losses. Trading costs are the main factor that determine my success - I really don't know how people can day trade successfully at firms with ticket charges? I can understand how position trading works fairly well at these firms, but day trading would seem to be impossible unless you are right 80% of the time.

Regards,

Dave
