sorry didn't mean to say that I trade exclusively short - just that I feel better doing so, you are entirely correct about beating my head against the tide, however

Evening Dick, Just read your note about going short... << I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month but history tells us that there is a positive bias to the market, MOST of the time..IMO, you will be going against the tide, exclusively trading short....Maybe you like a challenge >> Stocks will go up and down... there is no reason a person shouldn't make money going both ways. It's only the closed minded that can't see that. It's like people that won't buy a Tabacco Stock because of cigarettes. I wouldn't know if I was buying a tabacco stock or not... I just want to make MONEY!! And the best way to do that is with TA!! I enjoy this topic because of all the questions people ask. Thank you Dave Evans and Andy and Richard for being willing to help others. Ken
