Larry, I never said margins, margins, margins. I don't repeat myself. I said, it ain't sales, it's margins. But that applies to whether or not a co. can grow eps. It is relevant to, but not an all encompassing factor, as to whether co growing at 35% with that growth likely to head south this year, is worth a multiple in the 80s.

More to the point, this quarter will be the toughest Dell has had in a while to try to increase margins. I suspect they ticked up a bit this time. However, component prices are no longer dropping twice as fast as pc ASPs, which Mikey himself pointed out. And with Y2K about to eat Dell's lunch, we could see a margin squeeze in the May or August quarter.
