Until this week-end, I had never heard of an RRSP. My wife and I went up to Vancouver BC for the week-end and I read some literature on RRSPs. It was interesting to hear the Canadian perspective. Some analyst from Royal Bank was quoted in the Post as saying Nortel was a "hold" althogh he seemed bearish on tech stocks in general. It is my impression that Canadian tech stocks are undervalued compared to their American counterparts. Do you concur? How did Nortel do today on the Toronto exchange?

I read an article in the Post that said Canadian investments in mutual funds were down 30%. That probably has an effect on Nortel because many Canadians like to invest in a Canadian Company. I also heard the average age of a Nortel employee is 30. I understand from the Yahoo thread the stock was down .05 today.
