Crazy,

Back from a weekend in Victoria and as usual with those British Columbians with social values, got into a debate about the Free Trade issue and "those big bad Americans" coming up and swallowing us.

If Canadians want to compete on a global scale, we better get our butt in gear and support our own economy. The best price isn't always the best deal.

Denise.

I think you have made a very important point.

It sort of sounded like an editorial and then I thought, why not?

It is an age old topic that needs to be dusted off and re-examined from time to time because your observations have merit.

It also goes to the responsibility of analysts and how they do their work and how that effects a stock and the markets. Just look what happened to Dell last week! It will be very interesting when Dell reports tomorrow.

Much food for thought, CC

Crazy Canuk, a sad but great post you have there.!!!! US stock markets closed on Monday, and what happens---BID.COM's volume of shares traded drops by about 75% from last weeks daily average.?? That's not the best of it, who is to say that American's didn't buy a good slice of those 717,000 BID.COM shares traded yesterday, through Canadian stockbrokers.?? Maybe Canadians are ONLY trading 15% or 20% of BID.COM.??? In the Internet game they say Canadians are 1 or 2 years behind the USA, and failure by Canadians to see into the Future in Internet E-Commerce, may have cost us BID.COM already.??? We should take another look at this statement??--"BID.COM Canada's #1 Internet E-Commerce Company".!!!Has BID.COM been taken right from under our eyes, while the Canadian News Media focuses 90% on the negative side, the doom and gloom side of E-Commerce.????

BID.COM -A THREE STAR RATING-- It was fantastic before to see BID.COM in 4th. position in the Internet Auction business in the USA, but today to find out they have a "THREE (3) STAR RATING" in Internet Auction broadside to EBAY is unbelievable. (BID.COM'S five (5)years of experience in this game is finally showing through)!!! If that doesn't give Bid.Com a good boost, there's not much odds. The only difference is Bid.Com is US$4.30/share and EBAY is US$236.00/share!!! BID.COM's "SHOPPING NAKED" - slogan will do the trick for the Company in the USA and Europe??????
