I know your fondness for statistical concepts. If 99% of analysts base what you call their "assumptions" (but which are not really assumptions, at all) - on the IDC figures and Nile doesn't, that means that there are exactly 100 analysts. Is that the right answer? Do we get a gold star on our exercise books for getting it right? Your assumptions about Nile's figures are without foundation. Your uncritical reliance on the analytic categories employed in the IDC survey is uncouth. Bottom line - are you still standing by your confident prediction to me of about two weeks ago on this thread that DELL will be $115 at earnings?
