DELL CALLS: If DELL should drop much more, I'll be tempted to buy back 82 (yikes!) calls I sold at 65, 70 and 75. Roughly speaking, a $130,000 bad call. But who could have known that Dell would nearly double in five months? The options action has been very interesting. I've learned the hard way to not write covered calls on a sure bet like DELL -- or at least to not be greedy about the premiums. I was able to make money on CSCO calls last week by buying them back. For the same reason, I hope to get DELL back ... and hopefully I've learned from this near death experience.
