Thanks Michael and Hal for the wisdom on gaps. I am of the same non T/A school as Hal. It seems as though many fine companies have successfully left gaps behind. AXC has retraced more than half of the 1999 advance. Now I think that is healthy and sufficient!

Some reinforcing news is all we need to resume our upward move. Maybe Ed B's comments in the earnings press release or 10-K will give some reassurance to the market. You really need to read between the lines with our Chairman's words. He communicates as though he has a paranoid attorney looking over his shoulder and filtering any apparent enthusiasm. He does receive a great deal of undue criticism for that. All long term holders know this, but new shareholders who are expecting glowing enthusiasm and hype from Mr. Bramson can forget it.

I find it hard to forget the forward-looking positive tone (Bramson-style of course!) in his last letter to shareholders. It is my belief that AXC is turning a corner and long term holders will eventually be rewarded. Even those of us who bought many shares at higher levels and could only bring our average cost down to $4. Everyone needs to remember that Mr. Bramson has a great deal riding on the success of AXC.

Rob

ps. I would not be surprised if there is another operating loss for this quarter.
