PAinvestor:

I strongly disagree with you about the (ideal) nature of this website and the internet in general. The SEC has voiced concerns numerous times over the activities of stock touts and company shills on the web who attempt to lead gullible investors down the garden path (too often successfully).

One of the best things about SI is that one cannot use multiple screen names, so there is some accountability and people have the ability to develop (or lose) credibility based on the content of their posts. I certainly would not be in favor of censoring posts without hard evidence of fraud. On the other hand, I will read future messages from you in light of the fact that you have refused to comment regarding your affiliation (or lack thereof) with Micron (but I will still be interested in what you have to say).

I really appreciate the opportunity to benefit from everyone's expertise on this thread and would like to commend everyone here.

Happy Trading to all

sided with what? your silence? that is hard to side on. you didn't even say that your affiliation with mu was nobody's business. you just ignored the question.

also, the red herring of keeping your identity anonymous isn't gonna fly. nobody asked your name, your company, your position, or anything else in detail. please get real.

your mo leaves the strong impression you've read, and learned from, way to many mu press releases.

be honest and straightforward - even if that means respectfully declining to answer the question - and there are no issues.

the ad hominem and the red herring approach ain't gonna work and you aren't gonna get much sympathy for them.

feel free to post here. you do open up a lot of avenues for discussion and your technical and business understanding is probably more than most on this thread have. feel free to decline to answer very vague and gen'l questions regarding any affiliation with mu. if so, then i'm done with it.

ad hominems and red herrings will be buzzed out of the sky, though...

bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

PA, your posts have always been courteous, intelligent, and informed. What more could one ask for? These days, there are plenty of courteous, intelligent, and informed posts that are bearish as well, making for good discussion, and allowing us all to attempt to reach reasoned opinions, right or wrong.

On the other hand, there are still a very disappointing number of childish, immature posts that add little if anything to the discussion. I attribute these partly to bitterness over trading losses in this stock, and partly to youth, and would urge you not to take them personally, but rather to continue to add to the discussion whenever you have anything that might benefit us.

Good luck, and thanks for the posts,

Carl
