gene had to admit the Niles report is considered fact by the market at least until Mike Dell speaks. If Dell is a little shy of revenue projections, it will be like he stuffed the channel. Dell stock will lose it's high PE, and you will win the bet on CPQ doubling before Dell.

If Mike Dell meets expectations, it won't matter much. The seed has been planted and it will grow. The PE just won't shrink as much, and you will still win your bet.

CPQ is moving in a number of directions and will not be impacted be slow growth in any one product line. A much more stable company then in 1997. A much better bet then a box maker. People are going to start seeing this, and we will do very well over this year.
