Dave, There are so many ways to skin the cat. The low success rate you quote is likely true because of the day trading "paradigm" set up the last year or so that dictates one or two very overused methodologies of chasing profit. The majority of DTers out there have only been doing it for that same time period and many don't have a clue there are a hundred strategies that might work. After all, the trading day is 6 1/2 hours long. Day trading doesn't have to mean holding for 30-sec to 2-min. BTW I pretty sure funk is one of those folks who could be successful day trading by phoning in orders. A good system makes a skilled trader better but doesn't turn a loser into a winner. Alan
