you mean the class the analysts took to state mu would make $17 in 1997 and $4 in 1998? ho ho ho ho ho! actually, mike's point is this: seasonality never before caused dell to lose market share q3-q4 before so the fact they lost it this time shows dell's relative weakness to prior years. i'm assuming mike knows this to be true. it is not misleading, if true. the fact nobody will (can???) produce numbers to the contrary also indicates its accuracy. no statistics needed - just some critical thinking abilities that appear to be lacking - dearly lacking...
