In fairness, good call Jim...but I think your overriding theme (along with a couple others) has been that this is start of the big "crack"....that Dell is now entering its eternal (stock) damnation...and has already entered its steep fall lasting through the coming weeks/months...

I think us bulls think that is a "crock" (very close in spelling to "crack" but much different in meaning <g>)..

Sure, Dell's growth and stock appreciation is slowing from its 97/98 levels...not much, but slowing none the less.......but both will still be robust in '99, however (especially relative to the rest of the market)...rev. growth in the mid-40's, earnings growth in the 50's...and stock appreciation of at least 30-40%...with the possibility of much more...

A definite keeper, IMO.

But, we'll know this afternoon...Hang around, either way, it should be fun....I love that expectations are now set so low (haven't seen that in a while)

BTW- Several bulls on the thread have (also) been discussing for several weeks now how we also thought Dell could be due for a pullback in here....that conversation intensified after Dell broke 100...
