It doesn't work that way. Bid for RAZR is now 13. No way to play a buyout after the announcement unless you go for the 1/2 point or so difference which often remains until the deal is settled. That's a risk premium in case the deal doesn't go through.

Have to catch the horse before they open the proverbial barn doors.
