5 days on the down for this but the vol seems to be dropping. Good sign. I still think that if ABX wanted this below 3.00 again they could easily do it. Caution is the word!

Hello Ray;

Yes that is true, ABX has only themselves to blame, as I have mentioned they dropped the ball on this right form opening shot, you cannot win when the private deal is worth more than the public deal??

But then again maybe Barrick knew right from the start that there would be no competing bid??

It never did make sense to me that they would come out with a lower offer in public??

I have no problem with the size nor the potential of this property, nor what else that ARP holds, it was always a cheap offer, and Barrick was only looking out for their shareholders, after all they come first, but I believe now it will cost them more in the end??

The economy of scale still rests with Barrick, and as much as Russett seems to think that I'am short, he is wrong and so way off base I actually think he is beginning to sound comical??.........you can only sit on the side lines and cheer for so long??

Either way the fact that I held off commiting more cash to this play, has now saved me money, and it appears that it will head lower some more, judging by the lower highs and lower lows we are now seeing??

It appears at the moment to be a slow sell-off?? have to watch it ever so closely??

For those who still hold, you did right by not giving your shares away while the drills are turning, but it appears we may be seeing more opportunity here??

With regards,Frank

You're probably right but in this very weak gold environment and from the other perspective, Arp also blew the deal for a few cents.I still think Arp needs Barrick more than Barrick needs Arp.At the end of the day all we really care about is our own wallets,I don't know about you but mine is feeling a little lighter today.

BARRICK PLEASE COME BACK!WE WE'RE ONLY KIDDING!WE LOVE YOU MAN!
