Hello Frank. Yes. We go through this every time Intel or Dell reports.

BTW. M. Dell will be on CNBC tomorrow morning at 11 am EST. Maybe this is a good omen as far as Dell is concerned. The company did not respond ahead of earnings. I am sure due to the quiet period. That's the reason some analysts always get their licks in a cpl of days before cos. report. Get em, while they can't respond.

Hoping for a good report on Dell. WMT already came in ahead of estimates.

One of those tech analysts, Kumar, touted Intel this morning.

Hello Frank. Just heard the news on Dell. I guess we owe those 2 analysts an apology. Dell hit their number of 31, which they thought that Dell may do, but revenue came in at 5.17 mill. Those analysts said it could be as low as 5.2. Well, I guess they heard something we did not. I will keep an ear on that conf. call and will def. listen to M. Dell tomorrow morning.

I heard 1 analyst opine yesterday that he would buy Dell again if it hits 40. Well, I guess we will be in luck then. Dell declared a 2 for 1 split and that would be just around 40 now when you consider the drop after the bell. I am not quite sure if it works that way. gg.

Have not been able to fig. HWP out yet but then I don't own it at this time. I have not heard about Amat yet. Like I said. I just got near a cpt.

Hm. Our thread is really active today.

Hello Frank. Dell. I just heard that Dell increased sales by 55% and had record revenues ever. Their internet sales were about 14 million a day, also a record.

The stock is back and fourth after the bell and was around 76 last time I heard. I think all this is pretty much overdone. I am not sure about those revenues but I think as long as the earnings are up to snuff. Who knows, maybe some of the components were cheaper and their cpts were therefore sold cheaper also. I am sure M. Dell will explain all this tomorrow. Just relax. Things will work out in the long run.

There is talk that there may have been a leak out of Dell and that's why those analysts came out with those almost exact numbers.

Luckily Dell is not my biggest holding and PBI and WCOM actually kept me in the black even with Dell's after hour carnage.

I will be off until later tonight.

Sonny

P.S. I gave the Dell thread a quick look and noticed that you have a clear head. gg.
