Gore Horvath Issues Speculative Buy Recommendation on Itronics Inc.

PR Newswire, Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at 09:22

LONG BEACH, Calif., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is being issued
by Gore Horvath, a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers,
CRD number 06809.

Gore Horvath, an Investment Banking firm headquartered in Long Beach,
Calif., issued a Speculative Buy Recommendation today on Itronics Inc.
(BB: ITRO) and initiated coverage on the Reno, Nevada,
company. Itronics is a world leader in photochemical recycling through a
patented detoxification process that removes 99.99% of the silver and other
heavy metal content, producing a liquid based multi-nutrient fertilizer.
In the report, Gore Horvath noted that 100 million gallons of photographic
waste are generated in the U.S. annually. This waste represents approximately
40-60% of all toxic industrial waste. "Itronics Inc. is the only company to
offer photowaste generators a more cost effective, environmentally-friendly
alternative to traditional forms of waste management," the report said.
The Gore Horvath report pointed out that Itronics utilizes a fully
integrated, tri-phase proprietary process to effectively recycle photochemical
waste. "The tri-phase process involves distillation of photowaste, extraction
of silver and other heavy metals, and production of a liquid base for
fertilizer. The potential domestic market for photowaste recycling is
approximately $1 billion annually; utilization of this process internationally
would likely create a multi-billion dollar photowaste recycling market,"
according to Jason Sharp, the author of the report.
The Gore Horvath report states that Itronics' Gold'n Gro(TM) 20-1-7 was
ranked number one in the University of California Riverside evaluation program
for two consecutive years. Subsequently, Western Farm Services, one of the
largest fertilizer retailers, entered into an exclusive license agreement with
Itronics to manufacture and market Itronics' Gold'n Gro(TM) fertilizer,
allowing Itronics access to a broader market, the report concludes.
