The interday moves are heavily associated with the SPOO, which is by far the most heavily traded. So IMO the interday jumps are led by the SPX. On the longer terms you can find growing divergences.
IMO the NDX has led the rally since November, after the SPOO led the 10/8- 10/9 reversal.

Basic question, please: How best to short the S&P 500? I've never traded S&P Depository Receipts and when I ask for quotes on symbol SPDR on E*Trade, get nothing. Rather than trading the receipts, what are symbols for futures on the S&P?
