For what it is worth, maybe not much, Michael Murphy of the Cal Tech letter recently did an interview with SI's Mark Johnson, and Murphy was bullish on biotechs in 1999. He thought that the number of drugs approved would increase substantially from last year, some companies would turn a profit that to date have not, and that the FDA was very in tune with getting drugs moved through the approval process.
