Just saw on CNBC that Fed added reserves again last night.

Can they be pulling some of the strings on this market with this? I've heard theories that they manipulate fair value on SP futures by adding or draining reserves. Drain and the market tumbles, Add and the market rallies.

Is there any validity to this?

thanks for the response. I look at the gold stock charts for last summer/fall correction and they zoomed upward (NEM for example). Should we get a similar sell off some time soon what's to keep same thing from happening?

I'll admit I don't think much of gold (a rummy investment) but gold stocks did double in a month last year and that will catch anyone's eye -g-
