We never taught the boys to look up specifically or unquestioningly to anyone, but to think for themselves based on the precepts they've (hopefully) absorbed through the years at home. That's an interesting question; I'll bring it up at dinner! YOu've probably never read one of my dinnertime stories, but they're pretty typical for meals with kids, depth level of about one inch. However, they SHOULD be able to feel respect for the President and to believe that their lives are in capable, wise hands. Instead, we sit at the dinner table and are treated to Monica jokes. I am betting my boys will say they look to their father, a man of tremendous integrity and character, for guidance. CW is very excited about being able to vote this year; I hope he can find someone worth voting for..
