Uncle, Wow, somebody with manners on this thread? Will miracles ever cease.

I agree with what you say, though I certainly don't think one report means that much. It is the pattern of descent that interests me. Barely making their whisper number last quarter after a big receivables game. Then, perhaps missing their revenue numbers this quarter. Is it falling brick by brick or a temporary abberation.

I don't control where anyone from my thread posts. I have been telling folks for a long time that Dell was acting very unusual and quiet this quarter and that I had heard lots of rumors, which I did not pass on, from Austin. Niles then confirmed a small part of my unease about the co. I think this continues for awhile, but, as you said, we'll see.

>>as many of your troops stopped
by last week to taunt<<

this statement is, in itself, a taunt. it is also inaccurate if it was meant toward me. i was posting well before dell hit $110 and after - mostly in response to rude folks from this thread.

but, alas, they agree with you - so no big deal.

consistency is TOO much to ask, i guess...

Hi Uncle, After reading your response to Michael B., I'm curious what your bullish case is for Dell? Some of MB's arguments seem reasonable, but that doesn't mean they're correct, so I'm interested in hearing the opposite viewpoint, from a fundamental perspective.

Thanks,

Richard
