Yes, it is a shame that I am a goat and not a sheep

What the heck are you talking about? You're no goat!

James who said you were a goat? Brumar didn't.
You are a child of the King!
><>...SMILE....><>

James on your statement:
God has not audibly spoken or raised any prophets for 2000 years.

A prophet in the general use of the term is but an inspired and gifted teacher of God's word. And praise God there are many.

Whether or not God has spoken audibly to any human being in the last 2000 yrs. is something only that person can testify to. And I would say in most instances when it does happen, it would be just to awesome a conversation to go public with. But never doubting for one minute that God will do as he pleases. With whom ever He pleases. One person's experience is not a legitimate gauge for another's.

So how is it you think yourself a goat? Naaaa....No way, you are a sheep for sure!...Unless... God has spoken to you about this..smile..
After all who am I to question?

Talk to you later my good friend
Shalom...><>

Santiago, re. your comment about God not audibly speaking for 2000 years, guess you should tell God about that. About prophecy or spiritual powers, if anyone tells you they are a prophet or have any spiritual powers, you should almost automatically not believe them. All I know is I heard nine words. I can't be the only one who has.

About the sheep and goats comment, that was a good thing I wished for you and you sounded offended. That parable isn't that hard to understand. Maybe you aren't remembering it right.

About the leading of the Holy Spirit you mentioned, I'm curious about that. What have you experienced? If this is too personal, you don't have to answer. I consider testimony from personal experience to be more meaningful than the ability to pick and choose quotes from different scriptures and interpret things this way and that. People can find support for virtually anything from the Bible and have.
