Thanks for the reminder.

The TINEs in a PITCHFORK is not as rigid as support/resistance lines which were produced by TROUGHS/PEAKS/MOVING AVERAGES/etc. I have often seen a TINE broken only to have the price move back quickly within the TINEs. I guess to fully negate an important PITCHFORK it would have to break a TINE significantly and sustain it.

Well, the PITCHFORK is doing fine, since the market has already given up a majority of its intraday gain.
