Rather than getting us back into the 40's if this proposed deal has any legs it should get Apple close to the 50's. At 7B of Disney stock for Apple the deal is valued at about 52 per share.

Personally I don't think a deal at 50+ per share for Apple is anything to be happy with, but at least with the power of Disney we would no longer have to hear about Apple being relevant.

Maybe we can make up for the lost opportunity with Apple by selling MSFT short if this deal comes to pass.

Interesting "rumor" that seems to now have been around for quite a while.
