Jan,

<If we have a 2.p.m. day-traders surge,>

Thats very possible. However, today there was a gap up with approx 1 Million shares bought at 107 or higher. So once again, the enthusiasts did not benefit from their enthusiasm. So I am skeptical that the 2 PM surge will be very significant. Of course a few large blocks buying could easily push the stock up 10 points.

Actually, I am expecting a general market rundown by the end of the day.

Jan,

<If we have a 2.p.m. day-traders surge,>

Did you see what happened in the last 5 min in amzn?
The stock was at 102 for a long time. A 16K shares order buying came along. The very clever daytraders thought to themselves Aha! big elephants are coming to buy. They took the stock to 104. The 16K guy probably sold to them. No large blocks came to buy. the stock is now at 102.

Do the daytraders feel the elephant took advantage of them? I think so. Will they fall for it again ? I think so. probably five minutes from now. I don't think the surge will be very high.
