Hey Mohan, Before you slap yourself on your back too hard, check out ibm.com Click on the '770' model. You can order several variations of this very nice laptop with the 14gb drive. I have not checked it out yet, but I have a sneaking suspicion that these are IBM drives that Dell might just be using<ggg>. Hard for them to be a laptop technology leader as they don't create the technology for these machines. IBM, Toshiba, and others do... John
