What about this clip from the New York Post by John Crudele. Anyone hear anything about this? ------------------------------------------------------------- " The gossip I'm hearing is that Hewlett-Packard might be interested in buying Silicon Graphics, a maker of computer workstations. As I said in a recent column, HP has hired public relations help in New York for what could be a big announcement. Couldn't get confirmation from Silicon Graphics and the public relations firm was denying any involvement. So don't bet your last buck on this one. And a recent defection from HP to Silicon Graphics does make the rumor of a friendly deal smell fishy. Nevertheless, that's what I'm hearing.
