Hey Dennis V.(OT), how'd you know flat panel displays is a market sector I've been following from a speculative point of view? Heh! You made me go check an issue I haven't been watching too closely here in the last year or so, and it's one you might find interesting. From a flat-panel display standpoint, this company is in the R&D stage of DFED(Diamond Field Emission Display) technology which, if successful, will make yer cathode ray tube vanish; to be replaced by a 1 inch thick product. And unlike plasma displays, this one ain't a power pig.

However, extreme d.d. is required on this one as one cannot tell how it's gonna turn out. They're where VLNC was right after their MOT debacle, in other words way, way, way doooown, and could be considered not much more than a scam at this point except for the fact that two major Asian companies took a stake in them back a year or so ago. Oh, the market symbol of the company? SIDT.

As for VLNC, glad to see such a nice, solid base forming.....a good launching pad for the future.

Regards!

John~
