Ice--thanks, I have never been able to make up my mind about the metals. But the powder keg that sits under that market has to go some time -- I just wish I knew when the fuse will be lit.

GST technology stocks are in a downturn since Jan 29th, it will be much more clear in couple of weeks. The market is proving all wrong again, it turns out to be slow and agonizing slide.
Just my observations.

A slow burn is no fun, I'd love to see an even thou drop one day...

To protect myself besides some otm feb puts that can be likely flushed, I have :

barrick gold
agnico eagle gold
trans canada pipelines for yield
and only 2 US positions left...

Cash could be king, and if not, one could always roll naked in the paper money while waiting for the bear...You yanks have it made, you could roll in single dollar bills, we Canucks have nothing less than a fiver in paper left...
