f:Now, if MD was going to come on CNBC to boast about good news and an unwarranted reaction to Niles' information, he would (IMHO) do so tonight on the Edge, or something. By virtue of his delay, he obviously does not have any thing to say that will reverse the tide and drive a positive opening tomorrow.

Michael ALWAYS appears on CNBC the NEXT DAY after earnings. If he did anything differently this time, it would make it look like he was panicking. JMO

BTW, Ron to talk about CPQ again in a few minutes.

DELL is down about 2 points. CPQ is down 3/16. IBM is _up_ 2 3/8.

Everyone knows IBM is much more than just a box maker. Most people can not get over the mind-set of CPQ as box maker, no matter what CPQ says. Until CPQ can get unshackled from DELL, the box maker, the general direction DELL goes so, too, will CPQ.

I sure hope EP has some more new releases lined-up for tomorrow and the next few days.
