Fix
Aber will never get it from Wsp
not 3 for 1.
Aber might be realing from the Antler deal but Abz screwed themselves last year by not spending there share.

PS No way will they get my shares.

Doesn't sound logical to me, Fixer. Like red says, they have only themselves to blame for losing percentage last year to save a few nickels. Anyway, they have their hands full right now developing and financing Diavik.

I hold both and have a high opinion generally of their performance and think they're both undervalued - but when i took cash out of the market just lately, it was the abz i sold.

No way 1 for 3 - 1 for 2 I would go for, but that would tank abz ... i don't think it's gonna happen and i doubt that it's being seriously considered .... there could be a wide variety of reasons for abz to meet with wsp .... among them the exact opposite of this rumour - abz looking to liquidate their Snap Lake interest to finance Diavik .... although as an abz shareholder i would strongly object to them dumping Haywood at the project value indicated today by wsp's current price ....... well, time will tell ..... cheers ... macros

Hello Fix.

I posted on the WSP bulls thread last week some stuff a friend of mine told me. There's a lot of rumor floating around right now with WSP and ABZ. This friend of mine told me he heard ABZ was looking very seriously at selling their interest in Snap Lake and that Debeers was the interested party. You know how these rumors are they get twisted around so you never really know what to think. I do know Aber was looking at spinning off their interest in properties other than Diavik because they felt that the market was not realizing the value in the share price. As we all know Aber also must somehow raise about $250-300 million to complete their Diavik project.
