Nicholas,

so now you agree with my and don't stand by your previous statement???

Some basics you are missing.

1. There is no holy grail.

2. There are many criteria by which to judge trading systems and methods. %gain is one, % winning trades is another most people get tied up with these and fail to look at Maximum Drawdown, MAE (Maximum Adverse Excursion), etc. etc....

3. Just because something works for me doesn't mean it will work for your or richard or that is suits either of your styles. Your trading system has to satisfy you as a trader. Not me, not anyone else just you.

4. I will gladly and do try to share everything that I know. No one is holding anything back. Your mistaken is this respect. I know that Richard and I share a common view that I'm not gonna outline step by step to a newbie what I do so that he can feel confident that he has winning system and go try it with real money and lose a bunch of money. I don't want that on my shoulders. That its. Theres nothing else to it. I particpate a in a more private group with traders where we share more here because we all have done our time learning and trust that no one will blindly go off and impliment our ideas without proper research.

5. I'm sure there are people who won't share what they know or what works but they don't hang out on this thread.

6. The questions Richard and others ask are designed to promote thought and make you ask your self the questions that will help your determine what type of trader you are?? What type of trading system you want and then give you the tools to help you acheive success.

7. TA takes lots of work. I've invested thousands of hours and am still a relative newbie. as with everything else, there is no free lunch.

8. There is no Holy grail.

So get off the kick that richard, dave, or anyone else here is holding out on you. Only trying to guide your learning and keep you from making serious mistakes and feeling responsible for it. If this doesn't make sense to you I don't know what else to say.

good luck,
Sean
