I guess without you having been in on my conversations with him in the past and without you being privvy to the who's who around hilton head, you would not have the same slant on things I do. As far as Gatsby is concerned, I would LOVE to see an appraisal. I would quit posting on MLRE thread completely if somebody could show me an independant appraisal of Gatsby's that comes in over 35 million. This was a private company so I would not expect to find too much info on it. If you know anything at all about the auction biz, you will know that the dealings are not exactly "above board" in this biz. You might want to ask William Taylor as he is more experienced in the antique and auction business. He is very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I am sure he will gladly help give any insight possible. Good day
