Nor is it anything resembling a catastrophe, which is the outcome you want, of course. A rather straightforward solution is to just squeeze off the third zone, or just set a bridge plug, and produce the two remaining. Or. come up the hole and complete one of the other over half dozen zones with "shows" that are undoubtedly commercial and produceable.

There are two distinct "problems" here; one is the manageable difficulty with the well. The real, and truly unfortunate problem is Anvil management's disingenuity and inept handling of the news. They have unfortunately committed the most grievous and unforgiveable of all sins in the Texas Oil Patch: prevarication. Just give it out straight: the good news, the bad news, the really, really ugly news, just give it out straight.

Anvil has lost, never to be retrieved, the credibility they once may have had. I here and now call upon all Officers and the entire Board of Directors of Anvil Resources to resign, effectively immediately. A Special Shareholder's Meeting should be called, as the current BoD's last official Act, to re-organise the Company and install Officers and Board of Directors who will act in the best interests of all Shareholders.

News may not be good, but it is not all that bad either. Everyone, in my opinion, is grossly over-reacting. They should be able to make adjustments to the water problem. Until now it was not clear that the water was coming from an unknown source. Now they know, and can work on solving the problem.
Red, are you still invested in KOB? Now that's a problem.
