Sudden changes in analyst opinions sure are scary. I am taking my losses on Dell. I was hoping that I was wrong.

Sucks, doesn't it? I bought a DELL 2001 85 LEAPS shortly before the close today, plus I have two DELL Feb 95 I bought on Friday. Boy am I gonna get reamed on those last two. Can you say "Total Loss", boys and girls? I knew you could!

The only hope is that at the conference call they have a very good positive reason for the reduction in revenues, like passing on the savings of supplier cost reductions. Ain't gonna happen though. According to Briefing.Com DELL is down 11-1/2 from the close.

Will stick to my instincts---MSFT and INTEL--period!!!

Let me rephrase--will stick mostly to MSFT with some INTEL.
I still can't get over the 74% EPS growth for MSFT last quarter.

Niles got some inside information or was given some hints. It looks like that is what happened.
Yeah, T2, as I posted on Friday, I bailed out at 92. I have learned to believe early warnings like this, especially when we were not seeing a strong surge.
This is also a good lesson in the seduction of these threads. I have never liked the Dell thread because Dell was a Religion over there. Total cheer leading. When I got out Friday, I posted it over there as a warning. Those people all leaned on each other and stayed in, to their dismay today.
