Just a quick note to indicate (STOX.COM) SIS on VSE will be offering a service shortly. I saw it at the financial forum in Vancouver this last weekend and it kind of looks like E-Trade (very nice). They didn't have any pricing but the guy I spoke to said he day trades with it before he goes to work (Beta) and loves it.
It would be nice to have a little competition to keep these service costs in check. I for one will be annoyed if the monthly charge jumps to $50 and then have to pay again for level II let alone all the other market depth costs for the Canadian Exchanges. It would be nice if we could get together as a buying group and get some kind of group rate at SIS or Stock Watch. Is there any other competitive service provider out there that we should look at? I responded to a new subject "SIS" on SI and maybe we could continue the discussion over there to protect the chiefs string. Better yet, lets take Stock Watch Public with a private placement and get a piece of the action. When you look at what E-Trade trades at, that would be exciting!
Look forward to some Veterans responding.
