Rodman,
I'm not a Technical Analysis guy yet or even have much trading experience (3 months), let alone type (Hope you guys help make me one before I start losing money big time). My claim to fame is 20 years in the applications business. I heard a very bright guy present at the Vancouver Investment Conference in January (Frank Veneroso). He forecasted that by the middle of the year (possibly sooner) the Tech stocks are going to take a dive like or worse then last summer. His position is Corporations are going to stop buying Technology as they will be focused at making sure what they have works Y2K! Enterprise Application Software providers are very vunerable here as it takes 6 months to many years to get these applications into production. If you look at SAP and Baan for example (SAP is the Microsoft of the Enterprise Market) their stock is down and I believe will be down through the balance of this year.
I know this has little to do with a stock being over sold and I know lots of companies will be blaming Y2K as the reason for revenue failures (It never of course would be a product failure till after the end of 1999). But I have been wanting to share this for a while and this provided me a vehicle to give something back even if it is only a reminder.

GAC:

I was shorting GAC on Monday and gave up in frustration
because the shareprice wasn't going down. Today, I
considered going long on GAC, but chose to day-trade ATY
instead. Now, Dell's Hell has hit the NASDAQ and I'm
looking to take short positions in the tech sector.

...follow the bouncing ball I guess. I overheard that many
believe GAC cannot stay at these prices too long because
of takeover rumours at these levels.

Actually, I think my "trading eyes" are getting tired and
I need a break. I just may take the rest of the month off.
I should go visit Chief.
