I don't have a clue how the bond offering affects the viability of Amazon, but could someone more knowledgeable tell me what financial pain amazon would be under if the stock price fell 50% from its current level and stayed there permanently? In relation to their bonds, I mean.

Is there a chance if the stock drops low enough that the bonds could literally throw the company into bankruptcy?

don't think it will stick, but I think
they will try their best. Without the conversion, it is on to bankruptcy.

I am starting to hear the words Amazon and bankruptcy in the same sentence more often. I like that.
