If you call schwab, they will tell you which way is the cheapest for their commission. They charge .03 extra on anything over 1000 shrs when you trade on line, but 25,000 at .05 commish will be around $80.00 through one of their live brokers. I had the same problem, so now I call them to confirm the commission.
