Oh I get it. Money Magazine is wrong and you with your crystal ball can say unequivocably without fear of contradiction that AMAT's EPS growth with be greater than 30% in the year 2000. You are good.

Was Money Magazine wrong in calling AMAT a buy a year ago? According to your logic they were wrong.

the flaw with this kind of argument is that you have no clue whether amat's eps will be above or below estimates, nor the probabilities to assign to either outcome...
